Recently I've been trying to figure out how to manage my site. Because it's public anyone can type in my URL and visit it. (Though I have it set to be hidden from some links) I like that in some ways because people who like to keep up with our family casually that I meet here and there, can visit when they want, no hassle. You don't have to be a member of freewebs (or just WEBS as they are calling it now) to leave me comments and sign the guest book. If someone leaves a comment I don't appreciate, or they give info that I don't think they (or I) really would like posted for the public I read it, post it somewhere else so I can save it, then delete it. But I still don't feel fee enough to just write about anything. I don't want it to be a diary with terribly private things, but I do want to write freely enough that I'll be motivated to update. Right now I'm updating less than once I month. I really appreciate some friends' blogs and families that post a couple times a week. They are so fun to read and encourage me. I love keeping up with some large families with kids from all over the place. It's my favorite type of blog, family life on the extreme size! Some of them have made their's private, so that I have to be a member of that particular company to see. (i.e. xanga, blogger, wordpress) but others are public. I keep wavering between the two. Some people do both, but I'd either do one of the other, I really don't think I could do two. I barely keep up with one. *sigh* It's not like I'm that busy, I spend time reading alot of blogs! I just don't like having to sensor everything I write!!
I'll keep thinking about it. If anyone has any great tips, I'd love to hear them! My brains tired of the subject. :o)
Oh, and my URL is now sgafsisterlife.webs.com The site has changed their name. I could leave it how it was, but this is shorter, so I like it better.
