Following the Father

  I did a spontaneous photo shoot with Mercy in September and ended up falling in love with so many of the photos that I had no idea how to do a decent blog post with them!  They seem to capture her personality so well that I felt like I was watching a movie of her when scrolling through them.  Then when I heard the song Hold On by tobyMac a couple of weeks ago I immedietly thought of this set of pictures and had my solution. 

I bought the song and started in on it using Picasa's simple little movie maker but lost it when I was almost finished.  It was only one afternoon and eveing's worth of effort, but I was upset.  I thought I might not get the pictures to come together with the music like before.  I put on my big girl pants and tried again last eveing, this time with Windows Live Movie Maker  I got completely hooked to the project and managed to finish it before going to bed last night.  Night time seems to be when the creative sparks fly in my brain and once I got the ball rolling I couldn't hold it up!  So here it is, my first simple completed project of this kind.

  I put this in the "adoption" catagory as well because after working on it awhile I felt like the song could also speak to the hope found in adoption.  I enjoyed working on this and feel that more little projects like this will be in the future.
