It's not Monday and like most I don't have an alltime favorite photo, but it's too fun of a category to pass up!
I took this of my younger brother on the trampoline about a year ago. He just keeps getting better and better on those things. I'm glad we have one for him to use at our current home as well!

This weeks catagory for Melissa's Monday Moments photo challenge is animals. How appropriate as for Grace's belated family birthday celebration we went to the zoo last week!
Here's a photo that I'm pretty pleased with especially considering that I shot it thru a glass window.
This kind of wild cat is aparently called a caracal. It has pretty fascinating characteristics, especially the ears.
I'm looking forward to seeing what other animals link up!

Since I've been unmotivated to post on my blog recently, I thought a good way to start getting myself back in swing would be to enter into my friend's blog photo challenge.
So I'm pleased to present my submission to:
Please check out other entries via the links on Melissa's blog!

I will ignore the fact that it's 70 out right now and post some pictures from earlier this month. The kids don't have to wish for snow any longer, they've had a healthy dose of playing in the winter wonderland white stuff! It was so beautiful.
Kobo prefered to watch the commotion from a safe place.
Jetta's the opposite, she'd spend all day in the snow if we'd let her!
It does make for extra campus work, but since Oklahoma doesn't get that much very often we'll take it and enjoy it!

I did a spontaneous photo shoot with Mercy in September and ended up falling in love with so many of the photos that I had no idea how to do a decent blog post with them! They seem to capture her personality so well that I felt like I was watching a movie of her when scrolling through them. Then when I heard the song Hold On by tobyMac a couple of weeks ago I immedietly thought of this set of pictures and had my solution.
I bought the song and started in on it using Picasa's simple little movie maker but lost it when I was almost finished. It was only one afternoon and eveing's worth of effort, but I was upset. I thought I might not get the pictures to come together with the music like before. I put on my big girl pants and tried again last eveing, this time with Windows Live Movie Maker I got completely hooked to the project and managed to finish it before going to bed last night. Night time seems to be when the creative sparks fly in my brain and once I got the ball rolling I couldn't hold it up! So here it is, my first simple completed project of this kind.
I put this in the "adoption" catagory as well because after working on it awhile I felt like the song could also speak to the hope found in adoption. I enjoyed working on this and feel that more little projects like this will be in the future.
